Hayden writes stories about deafness, disability, queerness, and otherness which have appeared in Sycamore Review, Passengers Journal, The Coil, Sensitive Content Magazine, and elsewhere. He was One Story’s 2025 Adina Talve-Goodman Fellow. Originally from Indiana, he is living in Los Angeles and writing his first novel.
